 blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine of the renowned 2000 vintage embodies the soul of the Southwest of France. The grapes are hand selected, and the fermented juice is oak-aged for a minimum of fifteen months.

It has a very full, but rounded body, with notes that capture dark red fruit (think of black currants, Montmorency cherries, or East European plums, then think of those fruit notes CONCENTRATED).

Enjoy it with anything grilled or roasted: any meats that are red, pink, or white. But it will likely overpower most seafood, so you'll want to avoid that combination. It will also work with some hard, aged, full-flavored cheese.
