iesling is one of those noble grape varieties capable of producing great white wines. Its natural acidity allows aging potential and wines of great intensity. In their youth they are vivacious and graceful, with notes of orange and spiced pear. It reaches its full potential when expressed by the Stoefflers.

Unlike its German counterpart across the Rhine, this is a dry white wine; but the subtle fruitiness of the grape is still there. It's great with seafood, grilled white meats, and of course, roast poultry or game.

The wines of Domaine Stoeffler are well regarded in France. Since the formation of the winery in 1988, when Vincent Steoffler and his wife Martine combined the family vineyards, they have been considered among the best and most serious winemakers in the Alsace.
Their production has been organic since 2000. The vineyard work is meticulous and the harvest is entirely hand-picked.
The result is an impressive list of awards and selections in the most prestigious French wine guides. Their wines show great varietal fruit, but above all, they show a strong expression of the soil that the vines grow in.
