It's quadruple-distilled in St. Petersburg for exceptional smoothness, then blended with "live" water from Lake Ladoga.

General Mikhail Kalashnikov is the founder and the Honorary Chairman of The Kalashnikov Joint Stock Vodka Co (1947) that makes Kalashnikov Vodka. Though an accomplished tank commander during the Second World War, he's most famous for his design of the AK-47 automatic rifle. He's been named a "Hero of the Socialist Cause" and awarded "The Gold Star of the Hammer and Sickle." He remains an active octogenarian.
