| It's not all ice cream, daisies, and kittens ... this summer's dark side! |
July 21, 2008 |
| We will be raising the prices on some of the wines we directly import from France in the coming months.
It's due to the usual culprits: the weak dollar, higher transport costs, etc. The changes start to take effect at the end of August.
If you're in New Hampshire, you can custom order these wines through any NHSLC store before the price hikes take effect.
There are no rainchecks, so if it's not in the warehouse right now, you're out of luck. But if there's something you like,
now's the time to buy it at the current price. (BTW: only cases can be special ordered, no single bottles).

| Kalashnikov Vodka arrives in New Hampshire |
June 2, 2008 |
| Kalashnikov, the ultra-smooth Russian vodka from St. Petersburg, has arrived in New Hampshire,
just in time for the summer. Its true vodka character is best savored direct from the freezer, straight up. But it's also perfect in a cocktail.
You can check the NHSLC store inventory here.

November 19, 2007 |
| It's been a long wait, but the Knockeen Hills Irish Poteen has finally arrived.
The Special Reserve (110° US Proof) is quadruple-distilled
with a strong smooth, yet delicate flavor. Pup's Cider is proud to be the exclusive North American importer of this fine Irish spirit.
Through year-end, we'll have it available only at the New Hampshire State Liquor stores.
You can check the local store stock here.

| A Beautiful Weekend Beckons in New Hampshire |
September 20, 2007 |
| It's a great time to visit the New Hampshire partners who grow some of the apples we use in Pup's Hard Cider:
in Hollis, it's Brookdale Fruit Farms,
and in Walpole, it's Alyson's Orchard.
Both grow great fruit, and each is a local treasure.

| Last Hurrah for a Great Rosé |
September 3, 2007 |
| Back in August, Pup's bought the last of the 2005 St. Andrè de Figuiére Cuvée Magali from the importer,
Frank Johnson Selections, who we represent in northern New England.
It's a phenomenal rosé from Provence, full of citrus and apricot notes, perfect for warm weather fare, and as of today there
are only five cases left in NH (Code 45720). Once it's gone, this vintage will never be back, so stock up now. |

| For the Garden Harvest ... |
September 1, 2007 |
| Summer's nearly over, but for at least the next few weeks, New England's gardens will offer their bounty of
tomatoes, peppers, corn, squash, herbs, and nearly every other type of produce known. Celebrate and enjoy that feast; pair it with
La Gravière, a Cotes du Ventoux from northern Provence (red)
or Roussette from Denis and Didier Berthollier in the Haute Savoie (white). |

| Patience |
August 17, 2007 |
| It took a year and a half to bring this wine in from France, but we've just received the first shipment of
Chateau Colbert from the Côtes de Bourg in Bordeaux. It's a remarkable blend of 70% Merlot
and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. This 2003 vintage captures that year's hot summer with its intensity,
but is so well balanced that it will accompany any meal. |

| New American Distiller |
August 1, 2007 |
| Pup's is pleased to introduce New Hampshire to Copper Fox Distillers from Virginia.
Rick Wasmund is a new microdistiller, adapting creative barreling techniques to classic Scotch Whisky production methods
to create a distinctly American Single-Malt Whisky. Applewood smoked malt is a major flavor
in his product. It's on the strong side (94 Proof), but it's enjoyably smooth. |
